Goals for 2007

As I reach my first full year of knitting I look to what I want to learn and accomplish in this up comming year. The list is short but hopefully attainable.

1. Organize my knitting to group so that we actually meet regularly
2. Learn to knit booties for my niece/nephew who will hopefully be born this comming year
3. Attempt a more ambious project than a garter scarf or plain hat- maybe even a simple sweater
4. Learn that smaller needles are not evil and you do not have to do all projects on size 11 or larger needles.

Well that's it and we'll see how well I do. If we are lucky there will be pictures of these projects will pop up here.

Christmas Thoughts and Knits

What better way to start a blog than on Christmas?

Finished in time for the holiday: 2 lace scarves!
1 wool sweater!
1 wrap!
most of a hat!

Wow, I feel good.

Actually what makes me feel good is the fact that the sweater actually fits which will become my new years resolution: all things will be made to fit. Let's see how long that lasts.

Anyways, yule is long, sleep is low, tomorrow will be more eloquent (and perhaps have pictures)
